Universal Memory Network ®
The Universal Memory Network(UMN) ® provides multiple processors (or other data sources) with direct access to shared information via a global shared memory partition. Applications access UMN memory in the same manner as other shared memory partitions. This is an ideal mechanism for the transfer of large amounts of data with low latency. Data sharing is done between heterogeneous host processors with a user bandwidth of 40 Mbytes/s, with no protocol overhead. Data latency is well under 5 microseconds. Numerous buses and Operating Systems are supported.
